Itineraries

The itineraries linked below are intended to be an indication of the timeframes and standards of travel available. Any variations, personal preferences or unusual destinations will be subject to discussion and arrangement.

It is worth bearing in mind that certain destinations, for example Botswana, maintain a high degree of exclusivity within their tourist industry, and as a consequence a limited number of discreet and well appointed lodges and private facilities are available. When itineraries are planned for peak travel periods (typically between early July and October) bookings are usually required some time in advance.

In certain modes of travel, for example long range overland using an expedition vehicle such as a Land Rover, conditions and circumstances are always unpredictable, and a relatively comfortable and well equipped camp system will always be employed out of the vehicle. There are many advantages to this, not least flexibility and self containment, but also an added closeness to nature that is not always provided in high end, luxury lodges and bushcamps.
